Absintheherbs.com is a small company located in the southern Appalachian mountains of Virginia.  We grow herbs  organically:  no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers are used.   Herbs are harvested by hand on a daily basis during season to ensure that each herb is picked at its peak.   Our herbs are carefully dried in a temperature and humidity controlled environment.  Herbs undergo as little processing as possible, no grinding, stripping or sifting is done. Any damaged or brown plant material is removed, as is any nuisance plant or other contaminant to ensure that you receive only the highest quality, unadulterated product. We recommend you not process herbs until you are ready to use them.

Our herbs are suitable for a variety of culinary and other flavoring purposes.  You will not find a higher quality product anywhere.

For your convenience, we have added  a selection of commercially grown, organic herbs to the order list.  They do not appear on the main banner.  We will be changing the list continually as we try to source the best herbs at the best price.
